Non-Violence Silk
"No life should be harmed by another life"
Premium, eco-consciously crafted Kanchi silk sarees, deeply rooted in spiritual human unity.
Woven under the sacred blessing for the world: "May all living beings live in happiness."
"No life should be harmed by another life."
JK’s Lifestyle (Jeeva Karunya Lifestyle) was founded by Manickavel with a simple yet powerful mission: to build a sustainable and compassionate model that brings justice, dignity, and harmony to all living beings.
By integrating the essential pillars of life — Food and Dress — we construct closed-loop, non-violent practices. From chemical-free agriculture and zero-waste agrowaste textiles, we show that humanity can thrive without harming nature.
Banana/sugarcane fiber, ahimsa silk, and non-toxic herbal dyes reusable for crops.
Panchakavya-nourished organic farming & rainwater harvesting for pure food.
Beyond ecological regeneration, we are deeply committed to social justice and economic self-reliance for weaving families.
Our decentralized, home-based micro-enterprise model enables weavers to establish small-scale operations with minimal investment, breaking their dependence on large corporate brokers. We stand by our artisans holistically:
"Home-based micro-enterprises ensuring independent livelihood, health support, and holistic stability for artisans."
Our four guiding coordinates, weaving ethical consciousness, ancestral heritage, and universal unity into every single thread.
Weaving with 100% biodegradable banana and sugarcane agrowaste fibers. Every step of our closed-loop process ensures zero toxic chemical runoff, leaving a nourishing footprint on the planet.
Honoring the legendary craftsmanship of Kanchipuram while standing firm in our commitment to non-violence. Our premium silk sarees are spun after the silkworms emerge naturally and fly free.
Rooted in the timeless aspiration: "May all living beings live in joy and harmony." This sacred intention is literally woven into the warp and weft of every textile we create.
Reviving the deep human connection between rural artisan weavers and the modern home. Our model ensures dignity, wellness, and self-reliance, unifying us in a higher collective purpose.
A transparent, six-step journey where nature and human skill unite to create textiles of genuine integrity.
Fabrics are thoroughly washed to remove impurities.
Treated with natural mordants like alum, myrobalan or jaggery water to enhance colour absorption.
Natural materials are chopped and boiled to extract rich colour.
Fabric is immersed in the dye bath and gently boiled for deep colour penetration.
Dyed fabric is rinsed in clean water until the water runs clear.
Fabric is dried in the shade to retain colour brightness and quality.
Conscious and ethical options built on the circular pillars of food and dress.
